Max and Kassidy’s wedding at House Boheme in the Blue Ridge Mountains was the kind of day where every detail felt intentional, personal, and beautifully aligned with who they are. Their love for nature and mindfulness shaped the celebration from start to finish. As North Carolina wedding planners, we are suckers for beautiful mountain celebrations.

Their story is closely tied to the mountains themselves. Max proposed while hiking at Devil’s Courthouse, a spot they return to often on trips to Asheville. That moment became a centerpiece of their design, inspiring custom stationery with hand-painted watercolors of the overlook and of House Boheme.

The wedding palette reflected both Kassidy’s personal tastes and their shared love of yoga, rooted in the chakras and moody tones that brought depth to the day. Locally sourced, seasonal florals honored North Carolina’s natural beauty, creating arrangements that felt authentic and purposeful.

Every aspect of the day was grounded in their values. Dinner was entirely vegan, served family-style to foster a warm, welcoming, and intimate atmosphere. Linens and dishware reflected Mexico, honoring Max’s late father who once worked on an agave farm, while mini agave plants were gifted to guests as a living reminder of family.

Working closely with them from the start we ensured that every choice—from design to dining—told their story. The result was a celebration that was as thoughtful as it was unique, a true reflection of their connection to each other, the mountains, and the meaningful places that shaped their love story.
